About Us

As Diane King watched her mother slowly succumb to the ravages of Alzheimer’s, the desire to raise money and awareness of a disease that afflicts millions of families became a priority in her life. Out of that desire, Shenandoah Creations was born.

The company, located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, was launched in 2008 with the creation of a customized Alzheimer’s bracelet, with proceeds going to fight the disease. Using sterling silver and the finest quality crystal beads, Shenandoah Creations made handcrafted bracelets for use in fundraisers and as a way to help raise awareness of the disease, much like the Live Strong bracelet did for cancer survivors and their families.

The warm reception the Alzheimer’s bracelets received led to the creation of jewelry to assist other fundraisers and clubs. Shenandoah Creations also designs custom bracelets for schools, clubs, 4-H groups, churches, dance studios and cheerleading teams, among many other groups.

Shenandoah Creations receives input from groups on color scheme and charms before designing a unique bracelet that will assist in fundraising activities.
